This year’s national pool tournament will cover all 10 regions and 64 host centres when it gets underway after the official launch on Tuesday at Vienna City with GH¢5,000 on offer for National Pool tournament 2014 champion.

Lovers of pool will be smiling again when the 2014 national pools tournament is launched on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Vienna City inside Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Accra at 11am as this year’s event promises more excitement and fun as well as more mouthwatering prizes for the winners at every stage.

This year’s event will see competition in all ten regions of this country for the qualifying stages which will span a total of 64 host centres nationwide, a massive increase on the 43 centres of last year’s tournament won by Shehu Bamidale.

Winners through the qualifying rounds who make it all the way to the grand finale at the climax of the 2014 national pools tournament are assured of massive prize giveaways with the top prize being a huge trophy, GH¢5,000 (five thousand Ghana Cedis) cash and souvenirs of sponsors, Hunter’s drinks.

“Players don’t have to buy the registration form at 20 Ghana Cedis anymore. However, a player must buy 2 bottles of Hunter’s from the bar or Host Centre they intend to play the qualifying game and will be given the player registration form to fill out,” Nudzor Agbanu, CEO of the organisers, Afrodigital Promotions.

In the event, Tuesday’s launch will also among other outlines, reveal that the second prize for national runner-up is a 42′ flat screen TV and souvenirs whilst the third prize is a table top fridge & souvenirs.
