Hearts MD vows to beat Kotoko home and away

Hearts MD Gerald AnkrahAccra Hearts of Oak newly appointed Managing Director, Gerald Nii Adjabeng Ankrah has vowed to ensure that Hearts take all 6 points against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the upcoming 2014/15 league season.

According to the Phobians will not drop a single point against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko. The Phobians for the past 5 seasons has never won a game against their arch-rivals.

But the new MD who succeeded Neil Armstrong Mortagbe has started bragging even before the league begins.

“The super 2 game that we played against Kotoko was just a friendly game and if the league start everybody will see a different Hearts of Oak, Kotoko will not even get a single point from us(Hearts of Oak) when we meet them – we have not hit our prime yet and the technical team are working towards that,” he told Happy fm.

The Phobians only picked up a point against the Porcupine Warriors when the two sides face d off in a home and away friendly in October.

The Phobians will have to wrestle the league title from Asante Kotoko in order to appease their fans after their 5 year league drought.
