Dede Ayew named new Samsung icon 

Dede Samsung iconFans of Olympique Marseille star Andre Dede Ayew were at the two malls, Accra Mall and West Hills Mall to get a photo-cum-autograph session with their icon, who is to lead Samsung’s recently launched “Go after your dreams” campaign.

The campaign is not only to whip up support for the Black Stars during the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea but also to see Samsung’s desire to get individuals go after their dreams come true.

Thousands of patrons were stunned over the weekend at the presence of newly crowned Samsung icon, Andre Dede Ayew.

Free balls autographed by the U-20 World Cup winner were distributed to shoppers sported with any Samsung product.

Those who bought items from Game, i2 and Telefonika at the Accra Mall and Palace, Compu Ghana and Telefonika at the West Hills Mall also received autographed balls from the left-footed midfielder.

Dede Ayew expressed delight at the massive presence of his fans, assuring them that the Black Stars will give its best in Equatorial Guinea in an attempt to bring back smiles on the faces of all Ghanaians.

He said he and his mates have what it takes to make it to the final and that is their objective going into the tournament, which sees Ghana playing in Group C with Senegal, South Africa and Algeria.
