Ghana National Bank will be the headline sponsor for the 2014/2015 second-tier Division One League, the Ghana Football Association has confirmed.
This was announced at the Ghana Football Association’s Ordinary Congress on Tuesday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram.
The indigenous Ghanaian bank becomes the second financial institution to bankroll a league in the country with First Capital Plus Bank sponsoring the Ghana Premier League.
The Division One League involves 48 clubs which are zoned into three groups. GN Bank, formally First National Savings & Loans, is one of the fastest growing in the country.
