Holistic Sports & Entertainment Foundation Ghana has organised a number of activities to mark the 2015 year at Twifo Atawinso in the Western Region of Ghana.
Speaking to yours truly, Elder Michael Laryea, CEO of Holistic Foundation said it has been his heart;s desire to promote sporting activities for the youth in his area.
He said there are many talents in the Twifo area, but there are no activities or any body to organise them, so he thought it wise to support the sporting talents in the community.
The disciplines organised include football, weightlifting and cycling.
He explained that the year had been very exciting with sports and the people of Twifo Atawiso must also be heard in the media.
The scout and coach of Aspire Dreams Soccer Academy hinted that this year was just a trial and they hope to do the programmes better in the coming years.
He appealed to business organisations and individuals to sponsor their activities because the young lad are creative, talented, discipline and willing to achieve something.
He commended sportsinghana.com for the exposure and prayed that other media houses will support them.
“Next year is an Olympic year and we shall do our own Mini Olympic Games here for the whole world to see and know what we are capable of” he added.
The Holistic Media Sports & Entertainment Foundation was founded by Elder Michael Laryea to promote entertainment and sports in the Twifo Atawinso and surrounding areas. He appealed for support also from the local authorities.
