Richard Commey Climbs Up Again On The IBF Lightweight Rankings.
Ghanaian Undefeated boxer Richard Oblitey Commey has climbed up to number three slot in the IBF lightweight ratings with both the number one and number two slots vacant.
The 28 year old(23- 0,21 KO) is undoubtedly one of the most impressive rising stars of his generation and he puts himself in poll position to met undefeated champion Rances Barthelemy( 25-0, 13 K0), also in the lightweight division.
Commey is arguably Ghana’s biggest present hope for a world title soon as Ghana is struggling to make up world champions in recent years despite it talented boxers on the local scene.
Commey who last fought in October against Kakhaber Avetsian, is also rated seventh by the WBC category.
The Commonwealth Champion who is aspiring to wear a world title believes he will be the next world champion from Africa and wants the whole continent to support him.
