Commodore Mensah backs Yatsuhashi to lead Hearts

Ex-Hearts Board member Mensah backs Yatsuhashi to lead side to win first Premier League title in SEVEN years

Former Hearts Board member Commodore Mensah is backing coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi to lead the side to their first Premier League crown in seven years.

The Japanese trainer appears to be winning the fans over after supervising their opening wins over New Edubiase and Medeama.

cm1Hearts looked revitalised and re-energised under the American trained tactician and ex-Board member Commodore Mensah has backed him to win the league.

“My first encounter with the coach at a Board meeting, he left me in no doubt that he knew his job. I was then prepared to invest my hope and trust in him,” Commodore Mensah told Accra based Starr FM.

“Yes the role of a coach is very important but the coach alone cannot turn around the fortunes of the club but with the support of the management and board he can deliver.”
