Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Obuasi Ashantigold, Kudjoe Fianoo has picked up nomination forms to contest for the position of chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA).
Fianoo who led Ashgold to win the domestic title last season, after two decades, picked the forms on Friday afternoon after nominations was opened to candidates on Thursday, March 10.
Fianoo expressed interest in contesting for the Chairmanship position early this year, saying he was ready to lead the Association to revive its fortunes.
The soft-spoken football administrator who had previously been Administrative Secretary of GHALCA is hoping for better luck in another election after a failed bid to be elected onto the powerful Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) last year.
