GOC sends farewell message to boxers

Black Bombers Of Ghana

Ghana Olympics Committee (GOC) has sent a goodwill message to the national amateur boxers, the Black Bombers who are participating in the qualifiers for Rio Olympics 2016 in Yaounde, Cameroon.
The bombers left Ghana on Thursday to compete in the continental Rio qualifiers in Yaounde, Cameroun add to the number of qualified athletes for the Olympics.
The Bombers have had a torrid time preparing for the qualifier – getting dismissed from the Theodosia Okoe hockey stadium where the boxers were in residential camping in readiness for the games by the National Sports Authority (NSA).
The GOC has has on their official Facebook wall sent a goodwill message to the bombers who will be participating in the qualifiers between 11-18th March, 2016 in Cameroun.
“We wish the national amateur boxing team, the Black Bombers, the best of luck as they continue their campaign to qualify for the Rio 2016 Games at the Continental African qualifiers in Yaoundé, Cameroon from March 11-19th. A contingent of 14 boxers and officials left Accra to Yaoundé on Wednesday”.
