MTN Invitational golf tournament set for Achimota Friday

The green courses of the Achimota Golf Club will take centre stage next Friday, 13 October when the latest leg of the MTN Invitational golf tournaments comes to town.

Over one hundred golfers from across the various clubs across the country are billed to slug it for mouthwatering prizes on offer from the MTN sponsors for the one-day tournament.

In all, luceative prizes are at stake in 12 categories for men, ladies, seniors as well as auxiliary.

A tournament which travels around the country, the maiden event of this year already saw Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, near Tema host to a resounding success back in June.

Now its the turn of the premier golf club to welcome the MTN competition and the expected large army of competitors.

Golfers from top clubs including Achimota of course, Tema, Royal Golf Club (Kumasi), Bok Nam Kim, Tafo, Tarkwa amongst others will all be in action as MTN provide a friendly yet competitive atmosphere for networking among their cherished customers.

Tee-off is at 11am.

“The MTN invitational golf tournament gives the company and the golfers the opportunity not only to play golf but also to strengthen relationships and exchange ideas whilst fostering collaborations,” noted a statement by the sponsors.
