The Ghana League Clubs Association has donated assorted items to Hasaacas Ladies in support of their participation in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The items presented to the team team on Tuesday at the McDan Park include cartons of milo, sugar, milk, eggs, rice, cooking oil and bottled water.
The Ghanaian women champions, who will start their historic Women’s Champions League journey in the WAFU Zone B in Cote D’Ivoire next week, launched a public appeal for financial support, following what they described as a dire financial situation and difficulties in preparing for the tournament.
The Ghanaian club’s welfare body continue to show the way by offering a hand of support to the Women FA Cup champions in the capital, Accra on Tuesday.
GHALCA chairman Kudjoe Fianoo led a high-powered delegation to make the presentation at the team prepare to battle their opponents that included vice-chairman John Ansah and women representative Anita Wiredu-Minta
Mr Fianoo reiterated the association’s commitment and support as the Ghanaian female giants embark on the African journey.
