Sensational midfielder, Gladson Awako has bid emotional farewell to Great Olympics after joining their rivals Hearts of Oak.
The midfield maestro following an impressive performance in the Ghana Premier League has joined the newly crown champions after a protracted negotiations.
The Phobians have already included the midfielder in their the CAF Champions League squad.
Awako took his Social media page to expressed his appreciation to the club’s top hierarchy, technical team, teammates, and fans for what he describes as an incredible journey since joining the team.
“It’s with mixed emotions that I am writing this message. To everyone at Accra Great Olympics Football Club. The owner Mr. Amakai who brought me here, to my teammates who helped me, to the staff who made my time here so easy and to all you fans who made me feel so special week in week out.
“It has been an incredible journey and it is with great sadness that I must say goodbye. I will miss you all and wish you the best of luck for the future.’ Thanks for everything,” the post on Awako’s Facebook page reads.
Awako played 43 games for Great Olympics and scored 10 goals with 12 assist to his name.
