Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions FC have made their first acquisition ahead of their maiden campaign.
Lions have announced the signing of the Nigerian teenage striker Evans Eenee for an undisclosed fee.
The 18-year-old joins the Accra based club from B.E. Arena Football Academy with immediate effect.
Lions Sporting Director Rainer Kraft said:
“Evans is a bulky and dynamic center forward with good qualities in the box. He’s a type of striker we haven’t had in our team yet. We are happy to welcome him in our squad.”
Eenee is expected to fill the big shoes of striker Evans Etti who has departed the club for new adventure in China.
Etti played a significant role in the qualification of Lions to the Ghanaian top-flight in the Division One last season scoring 10 and setting up his teammates 10 times.
