Ahead of their participation in the 2021 Aisha Buhari Cup in Lagos, Nigeria, Let The Girls Play GH has made a donation to Ghana’s senior women’s national team, the Black Queens, at their camp base at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence as the team prepares for the tourney.

Founder and CEO of LTGPGH, Madam Ama Brobey-Williams, made the donation of USD1,000 and hand sanitizers to the players as they prepare to represent the nation in the invitational tournament that will take place from 13th to 21st September 2021.

Speaking to the media after the donation, Madam Ama Brobey-Williams stated that, the NGO (LTGPGH) was established purposely to help develop women’s football in the country, hence the need for them to reach out to them as they are in need of support.

“We are here as an NGO that believes so much in your abilities and capabilities. You ladies are preparing to represent the nation in a tournament that includes all the giants in women’s football on the continent, hence we decided to come and make this donation. We have no doubt that you will do well in Nigeria and we want you all to know that we are solidly behind you to bring the trophy home,” she stated.

Let The Girls Play GH is an initiative geared towards the growth and development of women’s football in Ghana. A head-on approach centered on the improvement of the female football sector in Ghana.

The project seeks to create an effective platform to formally introduce, inform and invite corporate Ghana and the general public to an attractive but under-developed football industry with vast marketing and economic reach and social impact opportunities.
