Goalkeeer Eric Ofori Antwi had a debut to be proud of for Legon Cities, emerging as the Nasco Man of The Math in their goalless draw with defending champions Hearts of Oak.
The former Medeama SC stot-stopper put up a spectacular show of goalkeeping masterclass to ensure Royals pick up a point agaisnt the Phobians in their opening game of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League.
The 27-year old was handed a starting berth by Cities head coach Maxwell Konadu and he duly repaid the faith the trainer had in him with a series of brilliant saves.
Ofori Antwi made six(6) big saves in the game, keeping out a flowery of Hearts of Oak attacks to ensure his side left the Accra Sports Stadium unscathed.
His individual brilliance on the day, kept Legon Cities in the game and they eventually got one point to kick start their season.
Eric Ofori Antwi joined the Royals from Meadeama SC in August following the expiration of his contract at the Tarkwa based club.
The former Ghana youth International’s arrival is regarded by many as the best transfer business done by the Accra based side and after his first appearance, he has proven just that.
