Kotoko Cameroonian imports Mfegue, Mbellla still chasing work permit

Asante Kotoko new Cameroonian strikers, Mbella Etouga Frank Thierry and George Rodriguez Omgba Mfegue are yet to get their work permit.

The two attackers did not feature in Kotoko’s first game in the Ghanaian Premier League last Saturday, a thumping 3-1 away win over Dreams FC.

According to sources close to the record Ghana champions, two players’ International Transfer Certificate (ITC) are in Ghana and Kotoko is now working on securing a work permit for them before they can start playing official matches in the country.

Kotoko will play Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this weekend and it is not clear if their work permit will be available by then.
