The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) have congratulated Hasaacas Ladies on their impressive showings at the maiden Caf Women’s Champions League with a 3-1 win over Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea.

The Ghanaian champions put on an outstanding performance and deservedly won the match in Cairo on Friday night.

They ended the half on a high as they led 1-0 thanks to woman of the match Evelyn Boadu’s great finish.

Hasaacas Ladies added the second through Pepertual Agyekum.

Malabo halved the deficit to set up a nervy final minutes but Hasaacas Ladies responded with an assurance goal through Boadu in.injury time to seal the emphatic victory.

The win means Hasaacas Ladies are level on points in Group A with Wadi Delga who earlier beat AS Mande of Mali by the same scoreline.

The PFAG, as the mother body of all professional footballers in Ghana, are excited by this impressive result by our Hasaacas Ladies.

We wish the players, management and technical handlers of the side the best of luck in their subsequent games.

Evelyn Badu scored twice for Hasaacas Ladies and was rightly named woman of the match

In a related development, the PFAG also congratulates Hasaacas Ladies midfielder Evelyn Badu, who was named Woman of the Match following her brace in their win against Malaba kings.

Badu scored the opener for the Ghana champions on 13 minutes before adding her second in the second half added time to cap off a great performance on the day.

We extend our best wishes and encouragement for further accomplishments and greater laurels.
