King Faisal pay players Gh¢500 winning bonus for league wins over WAFA and Aduana

Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal Babies have paid each player GH¢500 (five hundred Ghana Cedis), equivalent to $82 (eighty-two US Dollars) for winning both of their opening games in the Ghana Premier League, according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.

The Kumasi-based side has maintained a 100 percent record in the two games played in the Ghanaian top-flight after beating WAFA 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and managing to shock everyone on matchday 2 following their 3-1 away win over Aduana Stars at Dormaa Ahenkro.

As a result, each player has been rewarded with the paltry sum for their efforts, even as the founder, owner and bankroller of the cash-strapped club, Alhaji Karim Gruzah has set an unbelievable lofty target of winning the league title.

Faisal next host AshantiGold at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this Saturday on matchday 3 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
