Ghanaian Wiz-kid Felix Afena-Gyan came off the bench to score a brace for Serie A side AS Roma in their hard fought 2-0 win over Genoa on Sunday evening.
The 18-year old forward replaced Eldor Shmurodov in the 75th minute to make a huge impact Jose Mourinho’s men.
Afena-Gyan gave AS Roma the lead in the 82nd minute with a smart finish after a perfect run from Henrikh Mikhatrian.
The young attacking sensation rounded off the scoring with a spectacular long-range curler deep into additional time to put the result beyond doubt for the Rome side.
The victory sends AS Roma above Lazio on the 5th position on the league log with 22 points, 3 off 4th place Atalanta.
