Ghana Boxing Authority lift ban on former world champ Richard Commey

The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) wishes Richard Commey who is a former IBF World Lightweight Champion, the very best of luck in his upcoming bout against Ukrainian boxer, Vasily Lomacheko.

Richard Commey is billed to take on Vasily Lomacheko at the Madison Square Garden in New York-USA, scheduled for December 11th, 2021.

The GBA has been monitoring Commey’s training programme and regime over the past weeks and have no doubt in his intuitive capabilities to use this fight as a launching pad to a world title fight opportunity.

The GBA is highly optimistic that Richard Commey will successfully win this fight which will be one step closer to becoming a two-time world champion and continue his steady rise towards winning many more successes in the ring.

As the statutory body in charge of regulations, promotion, organisation and development of boxing in Ghana, it’s imperative to support you both physically and spiritually to win this fight for mother Ghana.

The GBA by this goodwill message wishes to encourage all Ghanaians especially the boxing fraternity to remember Richard Commey in their supplications to help him triumph on the day of the fight.

We know you will fight your heart out for mother Ghana and lift the Ghana flag very high.
