Officials of the Green Sports Academy have extended an invitation to Ghanaian lawmakers to come witness their inaugural fight tournament which rocks Ave-Xevi in the Akatsi North District of the Volta Region this Sunday, Boxing Day, 26 December.
Green Sports Academy who have also tapped into football talent, are venturing into boxing and this Sunday presents them with the first opportunity to assess the potential fighters scouted so far whilst also showcasing experienced professionals in action.

And the organisers believe the presence of Ghanaian lawmakers, will not only be a motivation to the aspiring boxers but also an opportunity for the lawmakers to refresh themselves during the Christmas break before they return to work next year.
“Green Sports Academy invites all members of the 8th Parliament of Ghana to our maiden Boxing Exhibition night on 26th December, 2021 at Ave- Xevi in the Akatsi North District of the Volta Region of the Republic of Ghana,” said a press release signed by Ernest Buamah, General Manager of Green Sports Academy.
“We believe this will be an avenue for relaxation after the just ended hot parliamentary session and will also offer the opportunity for dialogue and progressive statecraft in the interest of the people of Ghana as they prepare for the next session beginning January 18, 2022,” it added.
“We take the opportunity to wish all parliamentarians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance,” the press release concluded.
