Rising Aussie Star Vegas Larfield ready for Gold Coast Casino cash-in, features in title f on Dib vs Ng card

Rising Australian standout Vegas Larfield will contest his first professional titles, as the highly rated super bantamweight gets set to battle Luke Martin over 10 rounds for the ANBF Australian and Australiasian Featherweight titles.

This will be Larfields fifth outing as a professional, and the Brisbane banger discussed his first professional title bout.

Larfield said, “I’m so excited for my first professional title fight and I want to thank my team of Phil Murphy and Tony Tolj for getting me this opportunity to win my first belts as a pro in my fifth fight. It’s really big for me to kick on with my career.

“I take every fight with the utmost of seriousness, but when there’s titles involved it brings even more of a focus to training camp. I’m really zoned in and ready to put on a show on March 19, at the Star Casino on the Gold Coast.

“To fight at home is great too. Being able to have this fight in front of my own supporters is special, on a great card too. It’s going to be a special night.”

Larfield acts as one of the feature bouts for Billy Dib vs Jacob Ng, with the winner of that bout putting themselves in contention for a shot at the IBF and WBO champion George Kambosos Jr.

Vegas opened up about his feelings about being part of a highly anticipated Australian event.

The well traveled Aussie said, “It’s great to be part of such a big event. It’s a pick ’em’ fight in regards to Dib and Ng, youth vs experience and many more other variables. I think the fans are in for a treat on this one.

“Australian boxing is bouncing right now. You have The Moloney’s, Bruno Tarimo, Liam Wilson, Liam Paro, Demsey McKean and of course George Kambosos Jr flying the Australian flag abroad. I have the right team behind me with Tony Tolj and Phil Murphy, I hope to follow in their footsteps so being able to fight for titles at this stage of my career on these types of events sets me up perfectly for a big future in boxing.”
