Free-agent Abraham Frimpong signs for Georgian side Dinamo Batumi

Georgian side Dinamo Batumi have signed defender Abraham Frimpong on a two-year contract.

The centre back was snapped up on a free transfer after ending his stay at Saudi second-tier side  Al Ain.

Frimpong was highly tipped to join Bosnian side Velez but the deal fell through.

Before his departure to Saudi Arabia, Frimpong spent two-and-a-half seasons  at Hungarian side Ferencvaros.

Before that he had successful spells at Serbian sides Napredak and Red Star Belgrade.
