After a streak of registering points in single digits, Ghana Forward/ Center Nathan Mensah ended the streak by scoring 14 points in a win for San Diego State University.
The Aztecs beat Air Force University 76-64 to clinch its 15th win in 23 games in the 2021-2022 US Men’s College Basketball Regular Season.
Mensah added to his 14 points tally by registering six rebounds, two assists, a steal and three blocks in the win while recording no turnovers.
The athletic defender Mensah was very efficient shooting the ball as he scored six of seven two point shot attempts and converted both free throw attempts.
He led San Diego State in scoring but Air Force’s AJ Walker led all players with 27 points as the regular season winds down and the postseason draws near.
San Diego won the Mountain West Conference last season to qualify to the National Tournament but got eliminated in the first round by Syracuse. San Diego ranks fourth in the Conference standings.
