Hans DeBeer wins 32nd GGA Seniors Open Championship

Hans DeBeer won the 32nd Seniors Open championship which took place last Saturday at the Coconut Groove Golf Course at Elmina in the Central Region.

He was followed by Stephen Acquah of Obuasi in the men’s event, while Rosemond Coggin won the ladies support.

In all, a total of 48 golfers took part in the exciting competition that  saw participants being offered a rare treatment from Crystal Health worth GHc1,000 each.

The competition attracted participants from  Tarkwa, Obuasi, Takoradi, Nsuta, Achimota and the Centre of the World Golf club.

The President of the Ghana Golf Association, Mike Aggrey thanked participants and expressed gratitude to the organisers.

Prizes were awarded to the winners, including giant locally made wooden trophies with golden adinkra symbols.

The Coconut Grove Beach Resort also gave out a full board weekend for two voucher to the men and ladies winners.
