Hasaacas’ incredible journey from Ghana’s Western Region to TotalEnergies CAF WCL

Hasaacas have been highly successful in Ghanaian women football

Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies have been ranked the 55th best women’s club in the world by the reputable firm International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).

Spanish giants Barca Femini leads the way as of March 1 with 876 points.

There are 8 other European clubs within the top 10. Corinthians (Brazil) is the only non-UEFA representative there.

Hasaacas Ladies once again underlined their credentials as the undisputed queens of Ghanaian women’s football

Hasaacas are the third best rated team in Africa with South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies and Morocco’s FAR Rabat ranked 26th and 35th respectively.

The ranking is based on the performance of clubs in international and national tournaments over the last 12 months.

A period that saw an unprecedented dominance by Hasaacas Ladies.

The Takoradi-based side won the Ghana Women’s Premier League, FA Cup, Ghana Super Cup and WAFU Zone B title.

They also picked up the silver medal at the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League in Cairo, Egypt.
