Ghana forward Osman Bukari scores in Nantes heavy home triumph over Girondins Bordeaux

Black Stars forward Osman Bukari scored his second goal of the season in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday when FC Nantes thrashed Girondins Bordeaux.

Nantes came from two goals down to see off Bordeaux in a 8-goal thrilling match at the Stade de la Beaujoire with a 5-3 scoreline in the end.

Bordeaux were 2-0 up at the break with Senegalese forward Mbaye Niang and Javairo Dilrosun getting the goals in the 6th and 18th minutes respectively.

Nantes responded within six minutes right after recess as Kalifa Coulibaly found the back of net and an own goal by Portuguese defender Ricardo Mangas.

The visitors restored their lead in the 68th minute through Ernest Kwateng who connected a pass from Dilrosun but the lead lasted for only four minutes as Coulibaly scored again to level matters.

Nantes went in front for the first time in the game four minutes later when Nigeria international forward Moses Simon got his name on the scoresheet.

Bukari was introduced in the match in the 86th minute when he replaced Coulibaly but he lasted only three minutes on the pitch to get his goal to seal the victory for the hosts.

Bukari has scored two goals and provided three assists in 20 appearances for Nantes in the French top-flight this campaign.
