The Emmanuel Gyasi Foundation has constructed a borehole to supply water for the people of Takpo Pennintobo community in the Nadowli- kaleo District of the Upper West Region.

The foundation spearheaded by Spezia and Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi handed over the borehole to the leadership of Takpo Pennintobo at a coulorful ceremony.

The handing over was attended by the parents of the player, Mr Christopher Gyasi and Mrs Charity Gyasi, accompanied by Elder Jacob Bannar of the SDA Church in Wa.

Emmanuel Gyasi has been involved in several philanthropic works in the country and even outside Ghana.

During his vacation in Kenya, the Italy-based player provided a young mother group with various accessories and cash donation.

The Spezia captain is having a good start to the Serie A season, having led his team to the next stage of the Coppa Italia. In the league, Spezia have won one, drawn one and lost one game.

The versatile forward will be hoping to make Otto Addo’s team for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
