Ghana champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies arrive in Benin City for WAFU B Champions League qualifiers

Ghanaian champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies have arrived in Benin City,Nigeria for the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B qualifiers.

The team departed Accra in the early hours of Tuesday August 15 via African World Airlines to Lagos before continuing the journey to the host state, Benin City.

A contingent of thirty-five (35) made up of players, team officials and a GFA representative made the trip to Nigeria as the make a second attempt for the main champions league slot.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 18, 2023 with the winner picking the only CAF Women’s Champions League ticket available to WAFU Zone B.
