Talented Ghanaian striker, Emmanuel Yeboah, has sealed a permanent transfer to Danish Superliga club, Brondby IF in a deal worth €1.5million.
Under the agreement, Yeboah has inked a four-year contract with the club, ensuring his presence on the team until the summer of 2027. This transition comes following his tenure with Romanian club CFR Cluj.
The 20-year-old footballer had initially joined Cluj in July 2022, embarking on his maiden European football season during the 2022/23 campaign. With this transfer, Yeboah now sets his sights on continuing his European journey in Denmark, after pledging allegiance to Brondby IF.
In his first interview with the club, Yeboah expressed his elation about the change and conveyed his eagerness to contribute to Brøndby IF. He articulated his ambition to both compete and enhance his footballing prowess. He emphasized his attributes as a hardworking and spirited team player while also disclosing his personal drive for ambitious growth and comprehensive learning.
As the season kicked off, Yeboah made a formidable start in the 2023/24 games, registering two goals in four appearances spanning various competitions.
Notably, the young forward’s impressive performances earned him a spot on the Black Meteors squad during the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations. During this tournament, he left an indelible mark by netting three goals, solidifying his position as one of the joint-top scorers of the competition.
