As the country is preparing to host and organise the 13th African Games, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, together with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) embarked on its monthly site visitation to the Games Village earlier today.

The Minister, after touring the University of Ghana construction site, hostel accommodation and sports infrastructure site at Borteyman, expressed satisfaction at the progress of work so far. He urged them to always keep their eyes on the clock in other not to lose sight of time.

Later in the afternoon, the minister also met a delegation of the Ghana Olympic Committee to discuss issues concerning Ghana’s preparation for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

He urged the GOC to put in place measures to ensure Ghana doesn’t only participate in the games but win more trophies for the country.
