Gladys Amfobea training with Ampem Darkoa ahead of possible switch

Gladys Amfobea has commenced training ahead of a possible switch to Ampem Darkoa Ladies Football Club.

The Ladystrikers versatile player looks to have settled already at the Bono-based side.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies have lined up series of new names to aid their preparation ahead of the West Africa Football Union Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.

The Coach Joe Nana Adarkwa led side have pushed for the services of Nancy Amoh and now working on finalizing the latest name, Gladys Amfobea.

Nancy Amoh’s deal as reported earlier might not be finalized due to her involvement in a CAF 1 Year ban for age-fraud in Morocco against Ghana Protest at the Under-17 level.

Gladys Amfobea can play either ad a center forward or as a right back – she has been juggling these two positions for Black Queens and Ladystrikers.

Gladys Amfobea scored 22 goals in the last two seasons in the Ghana Women’s Premier League and adds a lot of firepower to the attacking front for Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

Reports say  a deal is already in place; Ampem Darkoa Ladies are looking to make it a permanent switch while Ladystrikers are pushing for a loan instead.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies completed Constance Serwah Agyemang’s talks with Berry Ladies and the process have already began to finish her registration and other paper works.

The Ghanaian champions travel to compete for a slot to the CAF Women’s Champions League in Ivoiy Coast in August.
