Accra Basketball League newbie BSA bags wins across divisions

Following the conclusion of the first round of games in the 2021 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Season, league debutant Basketball School Academy (BSA) has gotten off to a very good start.

The league’s newest addition BSA got a win in the Men’s Division II and the Women’s Division this past week; BSA beat Juniour Reformers 62-35 in Division II.

In the Women’s Division, the young team run off to a 32-26 win over Galaxy Basketball Academy; both games were played out at the Prisons Court in Cantonments in Accra.

Both teams have been drawn into Group B in their respective divisions in the changed format to see out the regular season for the 2021 campaign.

UG v Ada Knights in Division II in 2019

In Division II, BSA is drawn alongside Reformers, Tusk Foundation, Ghana Army and reigning Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games Champion University of Ghana (UG). BSA plays UG on June 5 at 16:30 GMT.

In the Women’s Division, BSA has to contend with Ghana Army, Reformers of Prisons and perennial title favourites Braves of Customs aside Galaxy.
