Ghana deaf women’s football team need Gh¢100k to fly to Kenya qualifying tourney

Ghana’s Deaf Women’s football team, the Diamonds, in urgent need of GHc100,000 to facilitate flight tickets to the Deaflympics football qualification in Nairobi, Kenya.

Team Ghana made up of sixteen(16) athletes and six(6) officials has planned to leave the shores of Ghana a day to the opening ceremony on 11th September, 2021.

The Diamonds are currently undergoing pre-camp training sessions at the premises of Bechem School for the Deaf, the main hub for development and promotion of Deaf women’s football in Ghana.

The leadership of Ghana Deaf Sports Federation (GDSF) invites collaboration from corporate bodies, organizations and the general public to assist in harnessing needed assistance to secure flight tickets for the team to Kenya.
