“I will do my best” – Avram Grant promises Sports Minister

Hon. Ayariga meets Black Stars coach, Avram Grant

Avram Grant meets Hon AyarigaNew Ghana coach Avram Grant has promised to do his best for all the national football teams at a meeting with the Sports Minister, Mahama Ayariga.

The Israel coach,accompanied by his agent Rubie Shaif and members of the the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Committee paid a courtesy call on the Minister ahead of his official unveiling on Thursday.

“From the first time i came here, from the airport ,through the drivers,people at the hotel and peopleĀ  in the streets i have seen passion and i like it because i think football is more than football. It can bring joy and happiness to people especially national teams.

From my side i am looking forward to this challenge.I just don’t want to do well for the Black Stars ,I am happy to do well for all the direction of all national teams because i think the potential is here”.

It is a big one but potential is only the base . I am grateful you have given me the opportunity to do this and i will do my best my very best to do it. The fact that I am here means i believe in the potential and in the job that i am going to do.”

Grant will depart for Israel on Thursday evening as he prepares to relocate ahead of a busy next few weeks as the AFCON in Equatorial Guinea beckons.
