MTN CEO’s Golf at Sakumono on Saturday

Group photograph of winners with Mr Serame Taukobong(middle),CEO of MTN (12)Telecommunication giants, MTN are set to climax their unrelenting sponsorship of golf tournaments across the length and breadth of this country with a grandiose CEO’s Invitational tournament at the Celebrity Golf Club come this Saturday, December 13.

The competition is expected to attract over 90 golfers from all over Ghana to participate in an 18 hole one-day medal competition with very attractive prizes on offer for the winners on the day.

According to the organisers, the tournament promises to be the most glamour competition of 2014 and the setting at which the MTN CEO will use to express his profound gratitude to all those who had previously taken part in the CEO’s invitational events across the country. It will also crown the MTN golf events for the year.

Alongside these, a special clinic will be run for 30 novice golfers and those interested to inculcate and demystify the game in them

Prominent golfers include the MTN CEO himself, Serame Taukobong, Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin (the Okyenehene), Pierre Coussey (former Captain of the host Celebrity Golf Club), Kwasi Poku (current Captain of Celebrity Golf Club), Emile Short (Former CHRAJ Commissioner), Sam Jonah (estimated richest man in Ghana), Hon. Felix Owusu Adjapong (former Minister of Ghana) and former national football team star, Tony Yeboah.

Accordingly, golfers all over the country have been invited and expecte dto throng teh Celebrity Golf Club in their numbers including the Royal Golf Course, Kumasi, the premier Achimota Golf Club, Tema Country Golf Club, Damang among others.

Tee off is at 6.30am on the dot on the morning of Saturday December 13, 2014.
