Esperance drop Afful from Champions League Squad

Ghana defender, Harrison Afful has been dropped from Esperance Tunis’ 20-man preliminary squad for the 2015 CAF Champions League, we can confirm.

The 28-year-old’s exclusion from the initial list has raised doubts about Esperance’s plans of keeping the former Asante Kotoko backliner after his possible participation in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with the Black Stars.

Afful was left out along with Cruz, Yannick and Coulibaly. Esperance has 15 clear days to make changes to the preliminary squad sent to CAF.
