He said as a centre of excellence, the Institute deserves sporting facilities that befit its status.
The new sports chief described the maiden health walk, which he took part from start to finish as helpful, taking into account the health benefits it offered the participants.
He wondered how the institute will fare against basketball giants like Accra polytechnic in competitions, saying, “I wonder how you will stand the might of schools like Accra Poly in the forthcoming basketball game because I don’t see any court here.
“As a result, I have asked Sammy Anim Addo who is also a student here to see me on Monday for 100 bags of cement.
“It should be completed within a week. This forms part of activities to promote the other disciplines.
Themed “GIMPA: One Faculty! One Student! One Community,” the health walk was sponsored by Mama Vits Rice and Noodles, Vita Milk, Liberty.
