Kwesi Adu, CEO of newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Bibiani Goldstars has rebuff reports linking Asante Kotoko’s assistant coach, Johnson Smith and national U-20 head coach, Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin to the club.
Goldstars are in the market hunting for a manager after they mutually parted ways with Coach Kobina Amissah who had qualified them into Ghana’s topmost league.
“Aside the coaching aspect, Johnson Smith is a personal friend whom I brought from Berekum Arsenal to Goldstars before he moved to join Karela,” Kwesi Adu said in a media interview.
“And even I was part of those who helped him to do his license B coaching course in those days and we do have great conversations but it’s not about the Goldstars coaching job,” the Goldstars chief added.
“As for Paa Kwesi Fabin, I don’t even remember the last time I saw him. I think it was on TV during his days at Aduana that I saw him and I’m very much suprised people are claiming we are in talks with him,” he affirmed.
