Germany-born Daniel-Kofi Kyereh makes Ghana debut in World Cup qualifier

Germany-born striker Daniel-Kofi Kyereh made his debut for the Black Stars on Friday in their World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia.

The FC St. Pauli player was introduced in the game in the 28th minute when he replaced Jeffrey Schlupp who suffered an injury.

Kyereh was handed his maiden call-up to the Black Stars with a late invitation after Kelvin Yeboah declined to represent Ghana.

The 25-year-old has been in outstanding form for St. Pauli since the beginning of the 2021/2022 season in the German second-tier.

Kyereh has netted one goal and provided 3 assists in 5 appearances in the German Bundesliga 2 this campaign.
