Ghanaian boxer, Victor Kuwornu has sealed a 3-year managerial contract with Accra based businessman and boxing enthusiast, John Biney under his Oko Nature Company banner..

With the ultimate target to win a world boxing title within a couple of years, the two parties put pen to paper on the new relationship at the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) offices on Tuesday under the full glare of GBA President, Abraham Kotey Neequaye.

Kuwornu who made his professional debut way back in September 2013, is undefeated, having won all 10 career fights to date with an impressive 7 KOs to boot and believes this new development is just what his career needed at this point in time in pursuit of his goals.

“I am delighted to get this new management and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with my new boss. I promise to work harder than before and I will not let him down,” Kuwornu said.

“This is something I have been looking for in many years. Now I have it so now I can concentrate on my training to be at the top, knowing that I have a management team that will take care of all the administrative duties. The sky will be the limit for me,” the lightweight fighter added.

Mr. Biney revealed he has followed boxing for over two decades and has a stable of juveniles underground whom he will unleash unto the professional ranks soon, but is excited by the prospect of working with Kuwornu and is determined to make the boxer a champion.

“The utmost aim is to guide him to win a world title and my team will work hard to get him to the very top. We are here to support him to realize his dream of becoming a world champion for Ghana one day, it’s our aim and we will do it,” Mr. Biney told Sportsinghana.com.

“Within the next one to two years I am very confident we can be challneging to win the world title, we will begin with a national title, win an African or intercontinental title and we should get a world title shot afterwards. I am very confident we will achieve it,” he added.
