Hasaacas Ladies sign ‘incredible’ goalkeeper Patricia Mantey

Ghana Women’s Premier League champions, Hasaacas Ladies have announced the signing of experienced goalkeeper, Patricia Mantey on a one-year loan contract.

Mantey arrives from Ghana Women’s Premier League side Immigration Ladies as Hasaacas seek to strengthen their squad before they participate in the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League which kicks off this Friday in Cairo, Egypt.

The Black Queens goalkeeper has been handed jersey number 22 for the tournament and she is expected to bring on board her vast experience.

She has become the second signing by Hasaacas Ladies following the arrival of Burkinabe international, Fatoumata Tamboura.

Mantey has had stints outside Ghana after she once played for Nigerian giants Rivers Angels.

The Nigerian champions are also expected to participate in the maiden Champions League after placing second to Hasaacas in the WAFU Champions League, which served as qualification to the continental championship.
