Hasaacas Ladies captain calms Ghanaian nerves: ‘We will bring trophy home’

Captain of Hasacass Ladies, Janet Egyir has signaled a strong warning to their opponent ahead of the final game of the TotalEnergies CAF Womens Champions League after a triumph victory over Moroccan side ASFAR in the semi-final stage of the competition.

Janet Egyir was honoured as the ‘Player Of The Match’ after an emphatic victory to reach the finals and would expect to prevail over Sundowns who defeated Malabo Kings in penalty shootout to reach the finals.

“It feels great to win the woman of the match award. We feel great, this is a dream coming true for us.

“When we missed the penalty, we thought something was wrong with us. But then we pushed through and won”.

“We are looking forward to the final game, whoever they are, we are ready for them”.

The Ghanaians would hope to belabor Sundowns and give Ghanaians another joyful mistry over South Africans.

Sundowns would also hope to have a revenge, on Hasacass Ladies following the Bafana Bafana’s 1-0 defeat to Ghana at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

One of these teams will make history as the first club to lift the trophy of the maiden edition of CAF Womens Champions League.
