Charm Basketball Academy fired up for WPSI tournament

Charm Basketball Academy are primed to make a statement in the upcoming Waterpark Sports Invitational Tournament (WPSI) according to Head Coach Ernest Koomson.

He made this clear in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com as Charm Academy continue to prepare for the tournament that commences later this month.

The maiden edition of the WPSI Tournament runs from December 20 to December 22 at the DUNK Court in James Town in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

Six teams including Cedar Oak Basketball Academy, University of Ghana, Basketball School Academy and Galaxy Basketball Academy are listed as participating teams.

“The boys are in great shape. We are going for the ultimate and don’t see any other team as a threat or favourite ahead of the tournament. Charm Basketball is ready to make a big statement and is definitely winning the trophy” he said.

The WPSI Tourney is headlined by Ghanaian sports apparel company Waterpark Sports and is a tournament eligible to only players under the age of 25.
