Asamoah Gyan thrilled with successful punditry job as AFCON ends

Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is savouring the experience garnered from his first punditry job following the end of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The 36-year-old was a specialist analyst for South African channel Super Sports, where he dazzled viewers with his razor-sharp analysis.

Gyan took to social media to thank his fans for the feedback he received from working on TV as a pundit.

It’s the morning after yesterday’s historic win by Senegal and I want to thank you all for coming along my AFCON 2021 punditry journey on Super Sports TV. It was an experience worth all the work that went into it. I am glad you enjoyed my time on the various matches,” he wrote.

The legendary Ghanaian footballer is expected to return to the field for one last dance before calling it quits.

Asamoah Gyan last played for Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities.
