‘I never said there is no constitution’ – Underfire Ghana Boxing Authority chief Kotei Neequaye

The president of the Ghana Boxing Authority Abraham Kotei Neequaye in an interview with Managing Chief Editor of Boxing Ghana Sammy Ofosuhene has stated categorically that he never stated that there was no constitution.

“I never said there was no constitution my brother,” he said.

“Check this logic, if there is no constitution then why are we going to Congress to review it. I don’t know who is channeling this agenda,’ the former CEO of BabyJet Promotions expressed.

The comments was in response to an earlier article attributed it to him.  ‘GBA Has No Constitution, We Shall Organize Extra Ordinary Congress Soon – President Neequaye’

The story was carried on other major portals but the GBA president in a sharp rebuttal had made it known that he never suggested anything of a sort.

He rather encouraged a dialogue between his outfit and the promoters Association headed by boxing guru Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye.

It can be confirmed that there are talks behind the scenes to end this ampasse as the end to this debacle is very near.
