‘I will build a stadium in 18 months IF’… Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah

Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has vowed to build a stadium for the club in 18 months if certain conditions are met.

According to him, should he get 100,000 committed fans of Asante Kotoko to contribute a one-time payment of $100, he will erect a stadium facility for the club.

He revealed this during an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.

Undeniably one of Ghana’s top football clubs and we’ll celebrated across Africa, Asante Kotoko has been left behind in terms of sporting infrastructure.

Under the Nana Yaw Amponsah the club is making strides in this aspect of the game and his latest revelation is likely to trigger a discussion on practicalizing this idea.
