Defending champions Hearts of Oak beat Skyy FC to reach MTN FA Cup semi-finals

Accra Hearts of Oak won 1-0 over Skyy FC on Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium to advance to the MTN FA Cup semi-finals.

Patrick Razak scored the game-winning goal in the second half, keeping the holders on track to win the trophy for the second consecutive season.

Razak produced a great finish after receiving a brilliant pass from midfielder Gladson Awako to secure Hearts of Oak’s place in the last four.

The Phobians will face fellow top-flight side Dreams FC in the last four, while Bechem United will face Aduana Stars.

After receiving a brilliant pass from midfielder Gladson Awako, Razak produced a great finish to secure Hearts of Oak’s place in the last four.

In the last four, the Phobians will play fellow top-flight side Dreams FC, while Bechem United will face Aduana Stars.

After defeating Kotoku Royals in Dawu on Wednesday, Dreams advanced to the semi-finals for the first time.

Augustine Okrah scored twice as Bechem United beat Tamale City, and Aduana Stars defeated King Faisal in a five-goal thriller.

The matches are expected to be played next month.

The FA Cup final will be held at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
