Ghana international defender Joseph Aidoo was in action for Celta de Vigo as Real Madrid hammered them 4-1 in La Liga Santander on Saturday night.
The game was Aidoo’s second game of the 2022/23 campaign, having played 90 minutes in the 2-2 draw with Espanyol last weekend.
Aidoo, 26, lasted the entire period of the game and was rated 6.5/10 by Whoscored.com.
The number 15 has been capped 10 times by Ghana and could earn a place in Otto Addo’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Los Merengues started a lot quicker than in their La Liga Santander opener, with Karim Benzema having the chance to open the scoring from the penalty spot in the 13th minute.
Luka Modric put Real Madrid back in front on the 41st minute with a shot from long-range which just snuck inside the right-hand post.
Vinicius Jr got in on the act and made it 3-1, bursting into the penalty area following a quite sensational individual run.
With the highlight of the match having been provided by Vinicius Jr, the Brazilian was once again in the thick of the action.
He played a pass into the path of Federico Valverde, who got onto the loose ball and side-footed the ball into the bottom left-corner of the net.
