The Ghana Football Association announced another pre-World Cup friendly for the Black Stars on Thursday evening, this time against Nicaragua.
The Black Stars will face Nicaragua on September 27 at the Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain as part of their preparations for the Qatar World Cup, which begins on November 20.
The friendly against Nicaragua, who are ranked 139th by FIFA, means that the Black Stars are now confirmed to face three countries before their first match in Qatar.
However, one or two games are expected to be announced next month.
Ghana will also face five-time world champions Brazil in September, as well as Switzerland a week after their opening match against Portugal.
Coach Otto Addo will use the matches to continue his assessment and team building for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals scheduled to start on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Ghana are in a difficult group and will face Portugal (November 24), South Korea (November 28) and Uruguay (December 2).
